Focus on designing negative and edge-case scenarios, validating complex integration behavior, and identifying anomalies across billing and subscription systems.
Location: Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico; temporary 6-month opportunity with consistent overlap during Pacific Time business hours.

What you will do
- Create and maintain functional testing plans for SaaS billing and cloud-data integrations.
- Design scenarios for billing configurations, subscription lifecycle changes, invoice generation, payment processing, and revenue-related data flows.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests through graphical interfaces and REST APIs.
- Validate standard, negative, boundary, and edge-case workflows across configurations and integration touchpoints.
- Review data-parity reports and query results to identify anomalies and discrepancies.
- Document test evidence, defects, retesting outcomes, risks, blockers, and quality concerns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in functional quality assurance for complex SaaS or enterprise applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience testing billing or subscription workflows, including subscription changes, mid-cycle modifications, invoices, and payment events.
- Hands-on REST API testing with Postman, Newman, or equivalent tools, plus read-level SQL knowledge.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured test-planning, documentation, and defect-management skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English and availability to collaborate during Pacific Time business hours.
Nice to have
- Experience with Zuora Billing, Revenue, or Subscription Management interfaces.
- Experience with billing-platform migrations, ERP transitions, or system-integration initiatives.
- Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Cypress, pytest, or ISTQB certification.
