Senior Content Designer (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL; in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week

Base pay: $82,056–$150,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Architect content strategies, taxonomies, and governance for high-frequency financial products, including options, portfolio margin, and advanced trading tools.
• Define communication systems for regulatory events, margin liquidations, options lifecycle events, and real-time risk-mitigation protocols.
• Establish governance and prompt-design frameworks for AI-native trading assistants and LLM-generated market insights.
• Translate SEC and FINRA requirements into product direction and communication strategies that reduce legal and systemic risk.
• Lead content design for new financial instruments and asset classes from concept through global launch.
• Mentor designers and define content logic, accuracy standards, research methods, and localization workflows across iOS, Android, and Web.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the role or a related occupation.
• Experience with strategic content architecture, systemic governance, and high-precision language for transactional interfaces.
• Knowledge of derivatives, leverage, clearing mechanics, automated financial risk mitigation, and complex trading edge cases.
• Experience translating SEC/FINRA mandates into product requirements, governing AI-integrated systems, and using prompt engineering for algorithmic insights.
• Background checks are required.

Nice to have

• Experience leading zero-to-one product launches in a regulated fintech environment.
• Experience mentoring designers and aligning executive stakeholders on complex product initiatives.
