Medical Science Liaison, NMOSD & gMG-Rare Disease - MD, DE, DC, VA

Location: United States — Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. The role is field-based and includes territory activities; the posting also references Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

Salary: $156,998.40–$212,409.60 per year, plus eligible total rewards.

What you will do

• Communicate clinical, scientific, outcomes, and economic data to healthcare partners, payers, providers, advocacy organizations, and access stakeholders.
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in accordance with MSL compliance standards.
• Develop and implement local scientific engagement and opinion-leader plans aligned with annual goals.
• Provide field observations and insights to internal collaborators and participate in cross-functional project teams.
• Support sponsored research, liaise with investigators for non-sponsored research, and potentially serve as a study lead.
• Support speaker training, congress activities, mentoring, and maintenance of clinical expertise.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, or another doctoral degree is preferred.
• Two or more years of scientific or medical affairs experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company is preferred.
• Three or more years of clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, postdoctoral training, residency, or fellowship experience is preferred.
• Rare Disease therapeutic-area expertise is preferred.
