Accountant, Global Accounting – Close CoE

hirify.global's Controllers Global Accounting Close CoE delivers global accounting, finance, and compliance operations for the enterprise.

What you will do

• Execute global accounting close activities and submit legal-entity trial balances and sales data into FCCS on time.
• Track close tasks, clear errors, research ERP ledger and FCCS differences, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform foreign exchange revaluation and maintain topside journal-entry support.
• Prepare close communications, maintain process records and supporting documentation, and support global close tools.
• Coordinate with finance, accounting, tax, treasury, payroll, systems, audit, and other business partners on complex deliverables.
• Support global initiatives, process optimization, audits, SOX compliance, and the development of process expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of technical accounting experience.
• Practical experience with US GAAP and statutory accounting or other GAAPs.
• English and Spanish proficiency required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, analyze problems, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles; advanced SAP and FCCS experience is preferred.
