TL;DR

Senior Python Developer (Python/Data): Building and continuously enhancing complex enterprise applications, data-intensive services, and automation platforms with an accent on secure production code, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing. Focus on designing resilient architectures, solving performance and reliability challenges, and supporting mission-critical systems through observability, CI/CD, and incident response.

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance complex enterprise-grade Python applications and automation platforms.
Build secure, production-ready Python systems for distributed, high-availability, and mission-critical environments.
Develop and optimize data-processing workflows for large-scale batch and near-real-time workloads, including extraction, validation, deduplication, enrichment, and performance tuning.
Create architecture and design artifacts, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations where required.
Identify defects, bottlenecks, and architectural weaknesses while improving maintainability, reliability, and coding standards.
Collaborate with product, data, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders; participate in code reviews, mentoring, Agile delivery, CI/CD, incident response, and post-incident reviews.

Requirements

10+ years of applied Python development experience in enterprise-grade environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with significant uptime and reliability requirements.
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase, including query tuning and schema design.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, SDLC, automated testing, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and secure coding.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
