TL;DR
Fund Finance - Associate or VP (Private Markets/Structured Lending): Originate, structure, price, and execute fund finance transactions for private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and other private markets funds with an accent on credit risk assessment, investor-base analysis, and tailored financing solutions. Focus on developing NAV and hybrid financing products, negotiating documentation, managing sponsor relationships, and identifying strategic lending opportunities across the EMEA market.

What you will do
- Originate and execute fund finance transactions with the Deal Principal and the Luxembourg-based Fund Finance team.
- Structure and price lending transactions, coordinating execution, documentation, and negotiations with the Transaction Management team.
- Assess credit risk across fund structures, investor bases, and underlying portfolio assets, contributing to risk mitigation and transaction structuring.
- Analyze private markets funds and identify financing opportunities across capital call, NAV, asset-backed, and hybrid solutions.
- Develop sponsor relationships, identify wider banking opportunities, and support strategic growth and ESG-related lending targets.
- Monitor market developments and contribute to product innovation, thought leadership, and structured lending opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in fund finance or a related private markets financing business.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, financing solutions, and private markets environments.
- Experience reviewing, negotiating, or working with financing documentation and market-standard loan agreements.
- Client-facing relationship management and sponsor coverage experience.
- Experience working with financial sponsors, asset managers, lenders, advisors, and other private markets participants.
- Fluent English, written and verbal, is required.
Nice to have
- French language skills.
- Familiarity with LMA documentation and syndicated lending processes.
- NAV finance expertise across secondaries, direct private equity, or private credit.
- Experience with term sheets, financing documentation, ancillary products, or arranger and agency transactions.
- CFA, CAIA, or another relevant professional qualification.
