SDE II Frontend (AI)

Location: Toronto, Canada; remote workplace

What you will do

• Own key user interface modules and frontend build and test systems.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
• Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them.
• Collaborate with Backend, Data Science, and DevOps engineers on API implementation and design.
• Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience building UI-heavy features, preferably for a highly used B2B SaaS application.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js or React.
• Knowledge of REST and webhooks.
• Experience with unit, component, or integration testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of UI code compilation, packaging, and distribution management, plus a B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Node.js as a backend for web applications.
