Quality Manager (Rail/Transit)

Location: New York, United States — 32 Old Slip; onsite role

Salary: $153,600–$230,400 annually

What you will do

• Implement the Quality Assurance Plan and Quality Management System in accordance with CTA QA/QC Guidelines.
• Coordinate quality-related issues among hirify.global, CTA, design consultants, general contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Schedule management reviews and quality meetings, review non-conformance reports, and support continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage staff training to ensure adherence to the Quality Assurance Plan.
• Monitor contractors’ inspection and testing activities during construction and verify that required documentation is completed.
• Coordinate field inspection activities and monitor schedules for inspection and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar field.
• Ten or more years of quality assurance experience on rail, transit, or other design-build projects.
• Experience with transit quality assurance covering structural, architectural, civil, MEP, and vertical conveying equipment.
• Experience working with staff and procedures on large, complex projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Experience developing, implementing, and directing processes that deliver the quality level required by a quality program.
