Senior Medical Writer (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid work with teams in the office an average of four days per week.

What you will do

• Develop and oversee scientific and medical education materials, including slide decks, key opinion leader presentations, and advisory board content.
• Lead scientific content discussions with clients and external experts, both in person when necessary and remotely.
• Contribute to scientific strategy and tactical planning for client accounts.
• Provide scientific input for proposals and organic account growth opportunities.
• Review and refine documents to meet industry standards and client-specific requirements.
• Mentor and coach junior medical writers where relevant to the workstream.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or PhD in a biology- or medicine-related discipline.
• At least five years of experience as a Senior Medical Writer, ideally within a medical communications agency.
• Business-professional or fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus the ability to learn new software.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, teamwork skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
