Fullstack Headless Tech Lead (React)

Location: Hybrid in Groningen, Netherlands or Kyiv, Ukraine; up to 4 weeks of remote work per year from anywhere

What you will do

• Build scalable and maintainable front-end applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop REST API, GraphQL, webhook, backend, and SaaS integrations.
• Work with API gateways and event-driven architectures.
• Own technical architecture and end-to-end project delivery for international clients.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, SaaS partners, and clients to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide developers through technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews while ensuring accessibility, usability, security, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience building modern React applications.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend integrations.
• Solid understanding of headless, API-first, and composable architectures.
• Experience translating business and client requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and client-facing environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven systems, API gateways, SaaS integrations, and headless platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards including ARIA, keyboard navigation, and WCAG.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical project delivery.
• Experience in a digital agency or fast-paced project environment.
