HR Generalist

Location: Hybrid role based in Pécs, Hungary, supporting locations in Pécs, Budapest, and Székesfehérvár; most office-based roles require onsite attendance three days a week.

Salary: Ft 6,714,000–Ft 9,847,200 gross annually

What you will do

• Provide operational HR support to employees and managers across three Hungarian locations.
• Manage onboarding, employee data changes, transfers, and offboarding throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Support employee relations, disciplinary processes, case management, and compliance with company policies and labour legislation.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection for blue-collar positions, including assessment centers and recruitment administration.
• Coordinate staffing partners, employer branding activities, recruitment campaigns, career fairs, and engagement events.
• Prepare HR reports, maintain data in Workday and ServiceNow, support HR projects, and coordinate internal communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
• Fluent Hungarian and working knowledge of English required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Knowledge of Hungarian labour law and HR processes.
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, or other HRIS platforms.
• Knowledge of international HR practices or experience supporting multiple locations.
