TL;DR
People Operations Lead (HR Operations/HRIS): Building and scaling the systems, processes, and local HR capabilities that support the full employee lifecycle across international markets with an accent on data integrity, compliance, and operational accuracy. Focus on designing automated SOPs, managing HRIS and people data, coordinating benefits and contracts, and establishing clear escalation paths with Employee Relations, Legal, Finance, and Payroll.

What you will do
- Own operational delivery across the full employee lifecycle, from offer and onboarding through changes, transfers, and exit.
- Lead a distributed People Operations team across Stockholm and New York and build local HR Generalist and People Advisor capabilities in new markets.
- Manage HRIS data quality, onboarding records, employee changes, contracts, benefits, leave administration, and reporting.
- Run and improve the People technology stack, including HiBob, Ashby, and Ironclad, while reducing manual work through automation.
- Design scalable processes and SOPs and maintain compliance across EMEA, AMER, and APAC.
- Partner with Payroll, Legal, Finance, IT, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations on operational delivery and case escalation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations, including team leadership and international capability building.
- Deep HRIS expertise, with strong focus on data quality, integrations, AI, and tools.
- Experience scaling employee lifecycle processes and SOPs internationally and automating manual workflows.
- Strong understanding of employment compliance across EMEA, AMER, and APAC.
- Systems-oriented, detail-focused operator who can distinguish People Operations responsibilities from Employee Relations, Legal, and Total Rewards matters.
- Fluent English is required; English is the working language.
