Senior UI/UX Engineer (Next.js)

What you will do

• Own the UI/UX quality of a core D2C subscription product and define the standard for every interface decision that ships.
• Take major visual features from briefing and design exploration through implementation, review, and final polish.
• Build mobile-first interfaces in Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
• Supervise developers' UI/UX work by setting direction, reviewing output, advising on solutions, and driving tasks to completion.
• Own the design system and documentation, maintaining visual and behavioural consistency across screens, devices, and locales.
• Run an AI-first design and development workflow, including shared prompting assets and critical quality assessment of generated output.

Requirements

• Experience as the final UI/UX quality owner for a product, with sign-off responsibility for shipped work.
• Shipped, live consumer web products with strong attention to visual detail and product craft.
• Production experience with React or Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript sufficient to implement and refine designs.
• Experience building or maintaining a design system and documenting design decisions using user needs, patterns, research, or data.
• Experience guiding other developers' UI/UX work and driving it to shipped quality.
• Hands-on daily experience with AI design and code tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, including advanced prompting.
