What you will do

• Manage the fund accounting and unit pricing business groups and provide leadership to subordinate Team Leads.
• Set operational goals and priorities, organize work, monitor performance, and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Lead performance management, career development, staffing decisions, coaching, and hands-on employee training.
• Act as the senior escalation point for client service delivery and build relationships with clients, internal partners, committees, and external stakeholders.
• Identify automation needs, provide systems support, and drive process, efficiency, and end-to-end service improvements.
• Manage the fund accounting risk profile and maintain risk management and compliance activities within the firm's risk appetite.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian fund accounting operational processes, business controls, and related systems.
• Experience in a major financial services business with progressively senior post-qualification experience.
• In-depth functional and industry knowledge, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven management, leadership, organizational, coaching, and counselling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Appropriate educational background and professional qualifications.
