Head of Rental & Leasing (Connected Transportation)

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid working model

Salary: $163,800–$227,500 CAD annually

What you will do

• Own the product, go-to-market, roadmap, and commercial strategy for the Rental and Leasing segment.
• Develop segment expertise across car rental and leasing, truck rental and leasing, and equipment rental.
• Translate customer and operator needs into product strategy, positioning, packaging, and solution roadmaps.
• Build relationships with enterprise customers, industry associations, channel partners, and sales teams.
• Make build, buy, and partner decisions using hirify.global’s platform, solution building blocks, and Marketplace ecosystem.
• Lead annual planning, investment prioritization, KPI reporting, cross-channel execution, and a cross-functional team of product managers, developers, designers, and specialists.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product or go-to-market roles within rental and leasing, fleet management, or commercial vehicles.
• At least 3 years of accountability for revenue or commercial outcomes and product development responsibilities.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including leadership of product development teams.
• Deep knowledge of vehicle rental and leasing models, fleet management, telematics adoption, and customer needs across the relevant segments.
• Strong commercial, product development, go-to-market, partner management, analytical, stakeholder management, and business planning skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
