Clinical Supply Chain Manager (AI): Leading end-to-end clinical supply chain strategy for global pharmaceutical programs with an accent on demand forecasting, packaging, labeling, distribution, logistics, and inventory management. Focus on scaling Phase I/II operations for Phase III pivotal trials, optimizing IRT/RTSM systems, and building data-driven workflows with AI.

Location: Remote opportunity within the United States, with Salt Lake City as the preferred home base and regular on-site visits required.

Annual base salary: $138,380–$186,010 in New York City, Boston, and the San Francisco Bay Area; $125,800–$169,100 in Salt Lake City and other U.S. locations. Annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits are also available.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end clinical supply chain strategy for global programs, establishing Phase I/II processes and preparing for Phase III pivotal trials.
  • Oversee clinical demand forecasting, packaging, labeling, global distribution, logistics, and inventory management as trial footprints expand.
  • Manage external packaging vendors, contract manufacturing organizations, trial supply depots, and clinical supply budgets.
  • Design, implement, and optimize IRT/RTSM logic for flexible and complex trial designs.
  • Build AI-enabled, data-driven workflows, scalable supply chain tools, SOPs, and proactive risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and CMC to align supply strategies with trial milestones and commercial readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of clinical project management or clinical supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Direct experience managing clinical supply chains for late-stage Phase IIb/III pivotal trials, including manufacturing and packaging scale-up.
  • Strong knowledge of global clinical trial supply operations, country-specific import/export regulations, and complex distribution networks.
  • Hands-on experience designing and managing IRT/RTSM systems, with understanding of cGMP, cGCP, and blinded operational protocols.
  • Experience managing contract packaging vendors, global depots, and clinical supply budgets.
  • Ability to work across early-phase ambiguity while applying rigor to late-stage development, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
