System Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Kazakhstan

Salary: EUR 1,775–2,100 gross per month; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Identify product and business needs and analyze use cases and tasks.
• Perform system analysis for new APIs and services supporting retail banking solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including BRD, SRS, UML diagrams, and BPMN process descriptions.
• Define and maintain the project and task backlog while managing multiple features in parallel.
• Participate in client communications and integration activities.
• Collaborate with banking IT and business departments, stakeholders, and development teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a System Analyst and at least 2 years of relevant fintech or retail banking experience.
• Expertise in lending, scoring, cards, KYC/AML, and client identification and verification.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven integrations, and backend business logic.
• Experience with APIs, contracts, data-processing rules, HTTP, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Postman, and Swagger.
• Working knowledge of DBMS, including basic Oracle and PostgreSQL skills, plus Jira, Confluence, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• English at Intermediate+ level or above, with strong communication and requirements-analysis skills.
