Associate Director, Talent Acquisition (Product & Design) (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a global recruiting team supporting Product, Design, and Solutions Engineering.
• Partner with the CPO, Global Head of Design, and Global Head of Solutions Engineering on hiring strategy and headcount planning.
• Provide market intelligence, candidate insights, and data-driven recommendations for executive workforce decisions.
• Design and optimize recruiting processes, interview frameworks, calibration practices, and assessment standards.
• Use recruiting metrics, ATS reporting, pipeline data, and competitive insights to improve team effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
• Partner with Employer Branding, People Partners, and Total Rewards to attract critical talent globally.

Requirements

• 12+ years of recruiting experience, including 5+ years leading global recruiting teams.
• Deep recruiting experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Design, Solutions Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience in technology or fintech environments.
• Ability to influence C-level and senior leaders on talent strategy, hiring standards, and workforce planning.
• Strong analytical skills with ATS reporting and pipeline metrics, including tools such as Ashby or Greenhouse.
• Experience designing structured interview frameworks, calibration processes, and candidate assessment standards at scale.
