Senior Front-End Developer (Web Experimentation)

Location: Hybrid, based in one of hirify.global’s Canadian hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.

Annual base salary: $121,000–$163,600 USD, with a midpoint of $142,200.

What you will do

• Build and ship production features for gethirify.global.com using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Sanity, WordPress, PHP, and Twig.
• Extend shared component libraries and design-system foundations while maintaining accessible, high-performance pages and Core Web Vitals.
• Architect and execute complex A/B, multivariate, and personalized experiments across high-converting marketing flows.
• Improve experimentation velocity and statistical integrity by reducing flicker, ensuring rendering accuracy, and shortening the path from hypothesis to live variant.
• Use AI coding tools, agents, MCP integrations, and automated workflows while helping define responsible team standards.
• Set technical direction, mentor front-end developers, and partner with the Engineering Manager on architecture, quality, tooling, and documentation.

Requirements

• Expert front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, accessibility, and web performance.
• Hands-on experience designing and shipping complex A/B and multivariate web experiments with measurable conversion outcomes.
• Strong experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, modern rendering strategies, and Jamstack architectures.
• Experience with experimentation and feature-flag platforms such as Kameleoon, Optimizely, VWO, or LaunchDarkly, plus analytics tools such as Amplitude or GA4.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity or Contentful and traditional WordPress, PHP, and Twig environments.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools, strong communication, technical leadership, mentoring, and collaborative decision-making.

Nice to have

• Back-end familiarity, API and service integration, or full-stack development experience.
• Experience collaborating closely with designers in Figma.
