Assistant Director of Academic Advising (Higher Education): Leading academic advising services and supervising advising staff on the Stephenville campus with an accent on advisor development, student success analytics, and evidence-based program improvement. Location: Onsite at 's main campus in Stephenville, Texas. Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with occasional responsibilities outside normal business hours.
Salary: $59,370–$84,311 annual base salary, commensurate with experience and subject to funding availability.

What you will do
- Lead and supervise academic advising staff and provide operational oversight in the Director's absence.
- Develop, assess, and improve advising services that respond to student needs and support retention and graduation.
- Lead advisor hiring, professional development, and the creation of advising reference materials.
- Collaborate with deans, department chairs, academic leaders, and campus partners on student support strategies and institutional planning.
- Analyze advising and student success data, create reports and assessment instruments, and establish performance indicators.
- Research advising practices and lead the implementation of technology, applications, and initiatives that improve the student advising experience.
Requirements
- Master's degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least six years of academic advising or closely related student services experience in higher education.
- Supervisory experience and knowledge of student development, advising theory, and higher education practices.
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, student information systems, degree planning, and degree audits.
- Strong written communication, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and comply with FERPA and university policies.
