Lead Packaging Designer - Dolls Portfolio

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Create breakthrough brand visual identities and packaging for the Dolls portfolio from concept through production.
• Develop brand guidelines, style guides, visual toolkits, design systems, concept boards, and presentation materials.
• Translate consumer insights, product features, brand strategy, and business objectives into compelling packaging experiences.
• Create sketches, graphic concepts, structural ideas, 3D mockups, renderings, and final artwork.
• Use AI-enabled creative tools for ideation, visualization, image exploration, storytelling, and concept development.
• Collaborate with product design, marketing, engineering, insights, legal, licensing, e-commerce, development, and global production partners while managing creative quality, cost, schedule, and manufacturing constraints.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional packaging or graphic design experience, preferably in toys, consumer products, CPG, entertainment, or another visual consumer-facing industry.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional packaging craft, typography, composition, color, hierarchy, image-making, and product storytelling.
• Experience taking packaging from concept through production, including structure, materials, finishes, retail impact, and manufacturing considerations.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dimension; familiarity with 3D visualization, rendering, prototyping, and AI image or concept generation tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, creative direction, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, external partners, freelance specialists, and global production partners in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience launching new brands, sub-brands, or franchise extensions.
• Background in toys, entertainment, licensed intellectual property, consumer products, or youth and family lifestyle categories.
• Experience developing omnichannel assets for retail, e-commerce, social, digital, and presentation environments.
• Experience working with overseas partners and managing creative quality through commercialization.
