Senior Manager, Financial Crime Operations, GC & SEA (Fintech)

Location: Onsite in the Singapore office

What you will do

• Lead first-line financial crime operations for the GC and SEA regions.
• Set standards for transaction monitoring and sanctions screening through risk assessments, rule tuning, segmentation, and profiling.
• Investigate suspicious transactions, patterns, and trends using a data-driven approach.
• Improve investigations, rules, workflows, and procedures in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Manage SLAs, deadlines, escalations, stakeholder relationships, and special projects.
• Lead and inspire transaction monitoring analysts across local and remote teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in transaction monitoring, financial crime management, AML investigations, compliance, or a related function.
• Strong investigative, analytical, written, verbal communication, prioritization, and risk-based decision-making skills.
• Experience managing performance against objective targets and using data and analytics to make decisions.
• Proficiency in SQL is preferred.
• Fintech experience and AICB, CAMS, or CFE certification are strongly preferred; prior analyst team leadership experience is a plus.
