What you will do
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other spaces after cleaning to verify quality standards.
- Review sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
- Coordinate daily work between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve room-status issues with the Front Desk and communicate open issues to the next shift.
- Prepare room assignments, complete required paperwork, and support daily housekeeping operations.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, and motivation of housekeeping employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally and maintain positive working relationships.
- Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds independently and handle housekeeping carts and equipment across uneven surfaces.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout a work shift.
