What you will do
- Supervise maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment, including installation, calibration, inspection, preventive maintenance, and replacement recommendations.
- Manage parts, supplies, inventory records, and purchase order logs.
- Complete life-safety checks, including fire-pump and generator tests, and inspect sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
- Respond to guest repair requests and support disaster-response protocol development.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, and supervision of employees.
- Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost control.
Requirements
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to operate power lifts, inspect equipment, and perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Professional communication skills and ability to follow safety, security, and confidentiality procedures.
