What you will do

  • Own the master service calendar for laboratory instruments and equipment, coordinating qualification, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair visits.
  • Perform or coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration, verify records against SOPs and specifications, and escalate deviations to Quality Assurance.
  • Manage Qualer as the equipment and calibration system of record, maintaining certificates, maintenance logs, and service records for inspection readiness.
  • Track equipment status, reconcile physical inventory with Qualer, and review overdue activities, recurring failures, and equipment-performance trends.
  • Manage Elemental Machines monitoring for controlled-temperature storage units, including alert and alarm acknowledgement, communication, and investigation.
  • Maintain vendor contacts, scopes of work, access requirements, performance records, and input for vendor qualification and periodic evaluation.

Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a life science or technical field, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience.
  • Experience maintaining equipment in a GMP-regulated laboratory.
  • Working knowledge of calibration and asset management systems such as Qualer.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple vendors and schedules simultaneously.
