Penetration Tester - Infrastructure & Red Team (Texas/Florida)

What you will do

• Plan and execute infrastructure penetration tests across on-premises, hybrid, cloud, wireless, and enterprise network environments.
• Assess Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows, Linux, virtualization platforms, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies.
• Conduct adversary simulation, red team, and purple team engagements across the attack lifecycle, including reconnaissance, initial access, persistence, privilege escalation, lateral movement, defense evasion, command and control, and objective execution.
• Prepare technical reports covering vulnerabilities, attack paths, business impact, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations, and present findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Provide remediation, security architecture, and defensive guidance while managing engagement quality, timelines, and client expectations.
• Contribute to offensive security methodologies, internal tooling, automation, technical research, training, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is accepted.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in infrastructure penetration testing, red teaming, adversary simulation, or offensive security consulting.
• Experience with internal and external network testing, privilege escalation, Active Directory security assessments, lateral movement, enterprise networking, authentication, identity management, and cloud security.
• Experience assessing AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments, including configuration weaknesses, identity risks, and privilege escalation opportunities.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, communication, self-management, and client collaboration skills.
• Must be based in Texas or Florida to work remotely.

Nice to have

• OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CRTE, CARTP, CARTA, CREST CRT, CREST CCT, PNPT, GPEN, GXPN, or equivalent certifications; OSCP or equivalent capability is strongly preferred.
• Experience with red team, purple team, adversary simulation, or threat emulation engagements.
