Generalist Analyst (Child Safety)

Location: United Kingdom; hybrid working. Working hours are Monday to Friday during the daytime, with weekend rotation as required.

What you will do

• Detect, investigate, and analyse online threats involving child sexual abuse material, grooming behaviours, and child exploitation.
• Use OSINT techniques, dark web tools, social media platforms, translation tools, reverse image searches, and personas where relevant.
• Convert unstructured open-source intelligence into clear, timely intelligence alerts and reports for clients and, where appropriate, law enforcement partners.
• Track evolving language, coded terms, and evasive tactics used by bad actors across messaging apps and closed groups.
• Identify emerging risks and subjects of interest, while providing rapid analytical support during urgent incidents and trend spikes.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in online child safety or risk intelligence, ideally with expertise in child endangerment.
• Experience in research, safeguarding, intelligence, law enforcement, NGO, or major technology platform roles.
• Strong research, report-writing, critical-thinking, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Fluent English and a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases and deadlines, and maintain high emotional resilience and discretion when exposed to distressing material.
• Familiarity with OSINT tooling; SQL, Python, or data manipulation skills are advantageous but not required.
