TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes/AI): Building and owning the AWS and Kubernetes platform foundation for a responsible AI R&D team serving global financial markets with an accent on infrastructure automation, container orchestration, observability, and reliability. Focus on designing Terraform and GitLab CI/CD workflows, hardening Kubernetes environments, mentoring engineers, and integrating AI-assisted tooling across the software development lifecycle.
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office
Salary: €4,800–€6,000 gross per month, plus short-term incentives and, where applicable, long-term incentives

What you will do
- Design, build, and automate AWS infrastructure with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
- Own Kubernetes clusters end to end, including Helm charts, networking, RBAC, ingress, security, and upgrades.
- Establish observability, secrets management, high availability, and reliability practices across environments.
- Mentor DevOps and software engineers and contribute to solution design and requirements analysis.
- Drive AI-assisted workflows and AI-based tooling across products, services, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support Agile delivery by taking roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Several years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related discipline, with production ownership on AWS or a comparable cloud platform.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or OpenTofu.
- Proven Kubernetes ownership covering Helm, networking, ingress, RBAC, upgrades, and security hardening.
- Strong experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab, and using Git as the single source of truth.
- Experience setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and introducing AI-assisted workflows into software development.
Nice to have
- Experience with FluxCD or Argo CD and exposure to Azure or GCP alongside AWS.
- Experience with Ansible or comparable configuration management tools.
- SQL or database troubleshooting skills.
- Background in fintech, capital markets, or regulated industries.
