TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes/AI): Building and operating the cloud and infrastructure foundation for a responsible AI R&D team serving global financial markets with an accent on AWS automation, Kubernetes reliability, and observability. Focus on designing repeatable Terraform and GitLab CI/CD deployments, maintaining highly available containerized environments, and integrating AI-assisted tooling into operational workflows.
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office
Base pay: €3,500–€4,000 gross per month, plus applicable short-term and long-term incentives.

operates financial market infrastructure and is building a new R&D team focused on responsible AI for global financial markets.
What you will do
- Automate AWS infrastructure deployments with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD across multiple environments.
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, configuration management, and containerized service reliability.
- Maintain observability, secrets management, high availability, and reliability standards.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI-assisted tooling into operational workflows, pipelines, and product development.
- Collaborate across teams, support continuous improvement, and take ownership of team outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications using Docker, Podman, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, RDS, and IAM.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Demonstrated use of an AI-assisted tool to solve an infrastructure or operational problem.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitOps tools such as FluxCD or Argo CD and with authoring or modifying Helm charts.
- Experience with CloudFormation, OpenTofu, Ansible, or comparable infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools.
- Background in fintech, capital markets, or regulated industry environments.
