Senior AI Designer (Game Development)

What you will do

• Design combat and non-combat NPCs and their behaviors for a new intellectual property.
• Write detailed and high-level documentation defining NPC behavior and requirements.
• Implement game AI using behavior trees.
• Define and manage character animation requirements and dependencies.
• Work with an in-house object-oriented scripting language, database, and animation tools.
• Communicate complex design ideas clearly with the development team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional game industry experience.
• Experience with visual and object-oriented scripting.
• Experience managing character animation requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a creative development team.
• Strong organization, deadline management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Regularly play and understand modern video games.

Nice to have

• End-to-end participation in a AAA project in a gameplay design or AI design role.
• Experience working with more than one development engine.
• Interest in a variety of video game genres and titles.
