What you will do
- Manage day-to-day first-party delivery operations, including route planning, dispatch, last-mile execution, and delivery exception resolution.
- Monitor delivery performance metrics and implement measures to improve on-time delivery, delivery success rates, customer satisfaction, and operational costs.
- Optimize fleet management, driver scheduling, equipment utilization, demand forecasting, and delivery routes.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehousing, customer service, and technology teams to streamline end-to-end logistics processes.
- Review delivery personnel performance, provide training as needed, and report operational results and proposed solutions to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics operations, including 2 years in first-party logistics or last-mile delivery management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems, route optimization software, and logistics analytics tools.
- Track record of improving delivery-network efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, team management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with e-commerce logistics and express delivery industry trends.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
