TL;DR
Cloud Ops Engineer (Azure/AI): Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud services for the ATOSS Cloud Solution with an accent on Azure operations, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and AI service deployment. Focus on automating provisioning, operating Azure AI services, applying security and cost controls, and troubleshooting production delivery workflows.
Location: Hybrid work in Timisoara, Romania, with 50% work from home; offices are also available in Sibiu. Relocation to Timisoara or Sibiu is supported.

What you will do
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, deployments, testing, rollbacks, and operational tasks.
- Apply GitOps and Infrastructure as Code practices to make infrastructure changes declarative and auditable.
- Automate provisioning and lifecycle operations with Python, Bash, PowerShell, scripts, and self-service workflows.
- Deploy and operate Azure and T Cloud Public services across managed platforms, compute, and networking.
- Deploy and monitor AI services such as Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI endpoints, including capacity, quota, and cost tracking.
- Apply least-privilege access and secrets management while investigating pipeline and deployment issues with senior engineers.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, ideally Azure DevOps, plus an understanding of Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell and an interest in automating repetitive operational work.
- Experience with or strong interest in Azure and/or T Cloud Public services.
- Curiosity about AI infrastructure and AI services, with willingness to learn cloud service trade-offs.
- Fluent English is required. Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues is expected.
- Pragmatic, curious, and eager-to-learn mindset.
Nice to have
- German language skills.
- Python and Django experience, or familiarity with Kafka and similar streaming platforms.
- Exposure to model serving, vector databases, or AI observability.
- Azure, CKA, or CKAD certifications or relevant coursework.
