Chief Operating Officer (COO) (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, Barcelona, Spain; relocation to the Luxembourg office is required. Three days per week in-office, with travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan.

What you will do

• Direct daily operations in line with long-term company objectives.
• Identify bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement scalable operational processes.
• Align operations with Product, Tech, Business Development, and Compliance.
• Define and track operational KPIs and establish reporting frameworks for data-driven decisions.
• Build resilient systems and infrastructure to support rapid user acquisition and geographical expansion.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams.

Requirements

• Executive experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or in a similar senior leadership role.
• Experience in a fast-growing scale-up, technology, or fintech environment.
• Track record of designing, scaling, and managing complex operational processes.
• Ability to turn complex business challenges into actionable operational frameworks using data.
• Experience building and empowering high-performing teams with an empathetic, results-oriented approach.
• Willingness to relocate to Luxembourg and travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan.
