Senior Internal Auditor (Projects)

Location: Levice, Slovakia; hybrid work with home office possible 2 days a week. Travel of up to 30% is required.

Salary: Basic gross wage from €3,300 per month; final compensation depends on level, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead and execute audits of large international EPC projects.
• Review project governance, controls, costs, schedules, contracts, and execution risks.
• Identify root causes of delays and cost overruns and recommend practical improvements.
• Partner with project leadership to strengthen decision-making and reduce delivery risk.
• Present clear, business-focused insights to Project Directors, Construction Managers, and other senior stakeholders.
• Support data-driven continuous improvement of governance and internal control frameworks.

Requirements

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7–15 years of experience in EPC or large industrial projects.
• Expertise in project governance, cost and schedule control, contracts, risk, claims, or construction management.
• Strong understanding of the EPC lifecycle, CAPEX governance, project controls, and Primavera or MS Project.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• High integrity, business acumen, independence, and willingness to travel up to 30%.
