Accounts Receivable Accountant

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia. Hybrid work and flexibility are offered.

Salary: from €1,600 gross per month, depending on experience.

A global consumer brand and e-commerce business creating, producing, and selling products across kitchen appliances, garden and living, sports, and consumer electronics.

What you will do

• Download, verify, and post daily bank statements in SAP.
• Prepare and execute payment runs and record incoming and outgoing payments.
• Match payments with open invoices, credit notes, and other items.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to bank accounts.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams.
• Communicate with banks and internal stakeholders to resolve payment and posting issues.

Requirements

• Education in economics, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with SAP FI and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Fluent English is required; German is an advantage.
