Offshore Heavy Lift Technician (m/f/d)

Location: Gdansk, Pomorskie, Poland; office/site only. The role includes global travel on rotation and on-call arrangements.

What you will do

• Perform mechanical and electrical technical duties on wind turbine generators to high quality standards.
• Support service and warranty activities involving large cranes, jack-up operations, and major component removal and replacement.
• Provide technical instruction and guidance to peers and less experienced heavy lift technicians.
• Manage the storage, inspection, certification, and calibration of tools and equipment.
• Follow and improve environmental, health, and safety processes while delivering daily project objectives.
• Participate in warranty campaigns, on-call arrangements, and rotating assignments across global sites.

Requirements

• Electrical and/or mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, rotating parts, and control systems.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ, City and Guilds, or an equivalent credential.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• Willingness to travel globally and work on rotation, including on-call assignments.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures, work collaboratively across mixed cultures, and maintain strong organizational and communication skills.
• Customer service skills and the ability to maintain client relationships across multiple sites.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with major component exchanges.
• Experience in the offshore wind or heavy lift industry.
