What you will do
- Evaluate, onboard, and manage third-party data vendors across international markets and product lines.
- Prepare RFIs, RFPs, diligence materials, vendor assessments, renewals, and lifecycle documentation.
- Research and assess data sources for identity verification, fraud prevention, KYC/eKYC, document verification, and compliance use cases.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and external providers to plan integrations and operationalize data sources.
- Assess data quality, coverage, overlap, compliance, performance, cost, usage, and business value through structured evaluations and proof-of-concept testing.
- Monitor vendor performance, feed reliability, schema changes, drift, outages, and remediation actions while improving acquisition processes and operating models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data acquisition, vendor management, procurement, partnerships, data operations, or a related field.
- Experience evaluating or managing third-party data providers across multiple markets or jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other relevant data protection requirements.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with identity verification, fraud prevention, financial services, regtech, or compliance-related data vendors.
- Knowledge of international identity, KYC/eKYC, watchlist, government, credit bureau, mobile network, utility, or electoral data ecosystems.
- Familiarity with APIs, batch delivery, schemas, external data feeds, and operational integration concepts.
- Experience using SQL or similar tools for data analysis, profiling, or evaluation.
- Experience with UK and European market data providers or international products.
