Senior/Staff Configuration Applications Engineer (FPGA)

What you will do

• Lead application pre-enabling, product development, and product hardening for future FPGA products.
• Act as a technical expert and advisor for FPGA configuration enablement.
• Develop collateral, training materials, design examples, and technical documentation for FPGA configuration features.
• Debug configuration-related issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Validate FPGA configuration and programming solutions on development kits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience with board bring-up, systematic debugging, and problem solving.
• Experience with FPGA or CPLD technologies, digital logic design, industrial I/O standards, flash interfaces, RTL, Verilog or VHDL, C, Python, or hardware and board debugging.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple issues and deliverables, and adapt to changing technologies.

Nice to have

• Embedded boot experience with U-Boot or Linux.
• Board logic design, device interconnection, and flash interface experience.
• Experience with device security, including encryption and authentication.
