Senior Associate Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

Location: Mossville Building AC, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Less than 10% domestic travel is expected. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $89,210–$133,810 per year.

What you will do

• Support cooling-system validation activities through hands-on laboratory, component, and product testing.
• Develop DVP&Rs and validation plans covering test requirements, methods, schedules, and acceptance criteria.
• Collect, document, and analyze product-health data and test results to support engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with validation leads, internal engineering teams, and external suppliers to execute testing activities.
• Support Continuous Product Improvement initiatives and troubleshoot technical issues affecting product performance.
• Progress toward independently running laboratory testing programs using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, Creo, and 3D models.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering background, strong mechanical aptitude, and hands-on technical capability.
• Ability to apply structured problem-solving, analyze test data, and identify root causes.
• Ability to work independently while managing testing and validation assignments.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a technical two-year engineering degree supported by relevant experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Mossville, Illinois, five days per week.

Nice to have

• Creo modeling experience.
• Additional mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing or product development.
