TL;DR
GSOC Protective Intelligence Specialist (OSINT/aerospace security): Monitoring security systems, incidents, open sources, executive protection threats, and global travel risks while producing intelligence reports and supporting Archer's GSOC operations. Focus on building protocols and workflows from the ground up, making independent decisions during ambiguous incidents, and delivering timely risk assessments for personnel, facilities, operations, and travelers.
Location: San Jose, California, United States. The role may require some evenings, weekends, or holidays as coverage needs evolve.
Base pay: $32.21–$40.24 per hour.

What you will do
- Monitor computer vision alarms, video surveillance, access control, and life-safety systems across sites.
- Dispatch and coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and assistance requests while maintaining accurate logs and shift communications.
- Conduct OSINT monitoring across social media, news, online forums, and other sources to identify threats to personnel, facilities, operations, and the brand.
- Support executive protection through person-of-interest research, threat monitoring, and event and venue intelligence.
- Monitor global travel risks, geopolitical developments, weather, and disruptions affecting employees and executives.
- Write incident logs, spot reports, intelligence briefs, SOPs, protocols, and workflows while helping build the GSOC intelligence function.
Requirements
- Typically 4+ years of experience in a GSOC, security operations center, dispatch, monitoring, intelligence analysis, OSINT, military, law enforcement, or related security role.
- Ability to monitor multiple systems, remain calm under pressure, and make sound independent decisions during ambiguous incidents.
- Experience writing protocols and SOPs and building operational workflows, not only following them.
- Strong open-source research, written communication, reporting, analytical, and information-discretion skills.
- Comfort working across multiple security and technology platforms and supporting evolving coverage needs.
- Uncompromising ethics, integrity, reliability, and willingness to acknowledge and learn from mistakes.
Nice to have
- Active U.S. government security clearance.
- Protective intelligence or OSINT experience supporting an executive protection program.
- Travel risk or geopolitical risk monitoring experience.
- Familiarity with GSOC platforms, intelligence and OSINT tools, social media monitoring, and dark web research.
- Foreign language proficiency or experience in aerospace, defense, technology, or another high-profile multi-site environment.
