Global Invoice to Pay Process Manager

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid. Travel: 5%.

Salary: Ft13,171,200–Ft19,756,800 annually.

What you will do

• Design and continuously improve end-to-end Invoice to Pay processes, including invoice capture, validation, matching, exception handling, payments, open-item management, and reconciliation.
• Deploy and optimize global invoice-processing solutions, including commercial and governmental e-invoicing platforms.
• Define standard operating procedures and support global standardization of Invoice to Pay processes.
• Define business requirements for OCR, AI-driven invoice validation, straight-through processing, payment automation, clearing automation, monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Monitor system performance, analyze invoice exceptions and late payments, and implement corrective and preventive actions with IT and platform teams.
• Define compliance controls and KPIs, support audit, legal, and tax requirements, and lead data-driven improvements in cash flow and working capital.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a large multinational organization, with deep knowledge of P2P processes and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, VIM, Coupa, Tungsten, EDICOM, or similar end-to-end P2P solutions.
• Knowledge of SOX, accounting principles, and country-specific invoice and payment legislation.
• Project management experience, strong analytical and influencing skills, and the ability to lead change and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English, written and oral, is required.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or equivalent.
• Experience in R2R, e-invoicing platform implementation, data mining and analytics, healthcare, or life sciences.
