Focus on building KOL relationships, analyzing regional treatment patterns, developing innovative educational platforms, and coordinating field-based medical events with up to 65% travel.

Location: Field-based in the United States, supporting the MidAtlantic District covering North Carolina and Virginia; candidates may apply from any U.S. location. The role requires a valid U.S. driver's license and more than 50% travel, potentially up to 65%, including weekend events.

Base pay: $137,000–$235,750 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the MidAtlantic regional KOL engagement, marketing education, and faculty development strategy for Lung and Head and Neck Oncology.
  • Build relationships with academic and community KOLs, influential healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide local market insights to the RYBREVANT Brand team and coordinate regional plans with marketing, medical, sales, analytics, and commercial excellence partners.
  • Analyze regional treatment-pattern variations to inform peer-to-peer education and insight-program placement.
  • Shape innovative regional and national educational platforms, congress engagement, future launches, and KOL marketing operations.
  • Monitor the regional marketing budget, support business planning, manage agencies, and potentially lead other oncology Thought Leader Liaisons.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in a related field; an MBA, MD, PharmD, PhD, or other relevant graduate degree is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing, medical affairs, key account management, sales, or sales leadership, ideally involving KOLs or influential healthcare professionals.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders and delivering strategic results.
  • Understanding of industry trends, oncology markets, customer relationship management, and patient-focused strategy.
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.
  • More than 50% travel is required, potentially up to 65%, including field-based educational events, meetings, congresses, and weekend programs.

Nice to have

  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience engaging KOLs and professional healthcare associations.
  • Deep medical or scientific knowledge of oncology.
  • Experience leading change and transformation, with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Interest in learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI.
