Lead Piercer (Part-Time)

Location: Peel St, Montreal, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 27–35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Oversee the complete piercing customer journey, including greeting, check-in, styling, transactions, services, and aftercare education.
• Manage daily piercing studio operations, appointment scheduling, inventory, equipment orders, client records, and required paperwork.
• Perform needle piercings and provide expertise on labret sizing, threadless jewelry, gemstones, metals, alloys, and downsizing.
• Explain procedures, risks, medical considerations, infection symptoms, and individualized aftercare requirements.
• Maintain studio cleanliness, sterilization, sharps and biohazard procedures, health and safety standards, and local legal compliance.
• Build local clientele, promote piercing and related services, and coach store staff on customer experience and selling standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with needle piercing.
• Experience working with threadless jewelry and an autoclave or Statim.
• Current First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA certifications.
• Ability to meet local permit, practitioner registration, vaccination, identification, waiver, and law-enforcement requirements.
• Strong knowledge of piercing health and safety protocols and local piercing laws.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and consumer-environment experience.
