Services Project Manager (Optical Networking)

Location: Remote-US; supporting projects across the United States East Coast region

Salary: $79,900–$127,700 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead customer-facing service delivery projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project scope, schedules, milestones, resources, and execution activities.
• Manage communication plans, project status updates, risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
• Chair customer and internal project meetings and communicate delivery outcomes.
• Monitor scope, resource utilization, budgets, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering, sales, bid management, service delivery, partners, and finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Service Delivery, Project Management, Service Coordination, or a relevant industry.
• Experience using project management tools.
• Experience with network lifecycle activities including design, deployment, migration, and validation.
• Background in optical transport and networking environments, including DWDM and L0/L1 technologies.
• Experience working with customers, cross-functional delivery teams, and engineering resources, with demonstrated influencing and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• PRINCE2 or PMP certification.
• Experience with effort estimation, cost drivers, and delivery risk evaluation.
• Experience supporting commercially sound decisions during presales and delivery activities.
• Experience working in matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong planning, scheduling, coordination, verbal, and written communication skills.
