Junior Food Contact Consultant (SME)

Location: Deventer, Netherlands; office attendance required at least once a week

What you will do

• Prepare and maintain compliance documentation, including DoCs, SoCs, and migration assessments.
• Track regulatory documents in internal systems and collect composition data and food contact declarations from suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers and assist with responses to customer compliance requests.
• Monitor changes in global food contact legislation.
• Progress toward advising on EU and international regulations, conducting risk assessments, and supporting new product development.
• Develop into leading compliance projects, customer interactions, audits, and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, packaging, food technology, or a similar field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Interest in regulatory compliance and supply chain interaction.
• Availability to work from the Deventer office at least once a week.
