Test Engineer (Military Systems)

Location: Onsite in Santa Barbara, California, United States. Travel up to 25% may be required depending on mission needs.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually.

What you will do

• Execute real-time testing of developmental turreted weapon systems and mission configurations.
• Develop test methods based on system requirements and customer specifications.
• Document test findings and prepare detailed test reports.
• Evaluate system designs using multiple engineering disciplines and fundamental engineering principles.
• Verify system-level performance of candidate approaches and recommend solutions for specific applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience with system development, integration, or testing.
• Experience working in a team environment, with strong attention to detail, motivation, and work ethic.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• Turret fire control systems design, integration, and test experience.
• MATLAB and Simulink expertise.
• Active Department of Defense security clearance.
