Production Team Lead

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work arrangement with domestic and international travel required

Salary: €48,000–€50,000 gross/year

What you will do

• Lead the Italy Production team delivering regional hirify.global Originals productions and develop team members.
• Assess projects, allocate work to employees or freelancers, manage priorities, and resolve complex production issues.
• Support feasibility and planning, venue procurement, permits, insurance, technical validation, and site preparation.
• Manage kit movement, trucking plans, cross-loading between sites, build costing, budgets, and cost-overrun prevention.
• Coordinate internal teams, partners, vendors, venues, brands, agencies, and talent to deliver event projects.
• Develop production tools and processes, research vendors and technologies, and support new event formats and immersive experiences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in live event production, experiential events, immersive experiences, or permanent attractions.
• 1–2 years of people management experience, including team development.
• Fluent English and Italian with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with permitting, licensing, safety standards, venue rules, regulations, and technical production requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, deadlines, stakeholders, and production details in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong vendor and venue network, leadership skills, analytical thinking, and a solution-focused approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with permanent attractions or construction management.
• Experience constructing a theater and managing contractors.
• Basic understanding of fabrication techniques.
