TL;DR
Technical Writer (Multimedia Documentation/Localization): Creating product-related multimedia documentation and driving documentation and video projects from concept to deployment with an accent on structured editorial workflows, technical content quality, and localization coordination. Focus on developing style guides and terminology, creating scripts and storyboards, and aligning technical, product, editorial, and translation stakeholders.
Location: Cacia, Portugal; hybrid work system. The role collaborates with colleagues and teams in Aveiro and other international locations.

What you will do
- Plan, design, and create product-related multimedia documentation in a structured editorial environment.
- Collaborate with technical editors, video producers, R&D engineers, and product managers.
- Drive documentation and video projects from concept through deployment.
- Support and optimize style guides, standardized terminology, and corporate templates.
- Coordinate external translation providers and maintain localization quality and terminology consistency.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Technical Writing, Translation, Communications, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience in technical writing, copy editing, instructional design, or multimedia documentation.
- Basic technical interest or knowledge in thermotechnology, thermodynamics, or electrical engineering.
- Understanding of translation workflows and experience coordinating external localization agencies.
- Familiarity with creating scripts or storyboards for multimedia content.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
