Underwriting Operations Associate - Crisis Management (Insurance): Supporting commercial insurance underwriting operations across renewals, new business opportunities, invoicing, endorsements, and policy documentation with an accent on client service, accuracy, and operational coordination. Focus on reviewing source documents, resolving transaction errors, coordinating policy-lifecycle activities, and maintaining responsive communication with globally distributed stakeholders.

Location: Windsor, Connecticut, US, or Kansas City, Missouri, US. Hybrid work requires at least three days in the office each week, with full-time onsite work available. The position is not eligible for full-time telework or relocation assistance.

Salary: $52,000–$78,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

  • Review, verify, and organize client source documents using standard guidelines and procedures.
  • Support renewals, new business opportunities, invoicing, endorsements, and policy-lifecycle transactions.
  • Partner with clients and process owners to resolve errors and complete transactions.
  • Prepare and review documentation for policy issuance and customer acceptance.
  • Maintain timely communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding files, records, and documentation.
  • Collaborate on concepts, processes, and success factors that improve operational excellence.

Requirements

  • One to three years of relevant insurance experience in a client-facing role.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience composing business correspondence and managing multiple priorities.
  • Fully proficient English and the ability to work from the Windsor or Kansas City office at least three days per week.
