Associate SOC Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work model with remote and office-based shifts

What you will do

• Monitor and triage security alerts involving phishing, malware, endpoints, identity, and networks.
• Investigate and enrich alerts using security tools, procedures, and playbooks.
• Escalate incidents to higher tiers and support containment activities under guidance.
• Document investigation findings accurately in ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with shift leads, SOC leadership, senior analysts, IT, and cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including phishing, malware, and network threats.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to follow structured processes and work effectively across multiple teams.
• Experience working in a large, global, and complex enterprise environment.
• Availability for a 24/7 Panama shift model with 12-hour 2-2-3 rotations, monthly rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of endpoint, identity, email, cloud, or network security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR, EDR, IPS, WAF, email security, cloud security, or threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience in a SOC, NOC, incident response, or security engineering environment.
